Jordanian Inspiration

My family and I spent the last five weeks in Jordan. Needless to say, all furniture painting stopped. We immersed ourselves in dust and dirt on an archeological dig. Occasionally, we found time to tour and poke around. The suq, a sprawling market area teaming with people, shops, food, and assorted goods, turned out to be a favorite haunt with countless visual prompts to fuel the imagination. Aside from my husband Ken, my favorite travel companion was my little digital camera. In hopes of sharing just a bit of the inspiration, I’ve collected a few pictures from trips to the suq along with shots from other outings.
For more pictures and way too much information from our Jordanian travels, check out my other blog: Summer in Ruins.
